Torvald Falch, Sámi Parliament of Norway's principal adviser, Per Selle, professor at the University of Bergen in Norway, Ghislain Picard, Chief of the Assembly of First Nations of Quebec and Labrador and Thierry Rodon participated in the event that allow to compare the situation of the Samis from Scandinavia with Indigenous from Canada. The notion of Free Prior and Informed Consent as well as the right to self-determination were central topics of the discussions.
