À partir d'un ensemble diversifié d'études de cas, elle analyse la relation entre le foyer, la communauté et le travail, en mettant l'accent sur les relations entre les autochtones et les entreprises, ainsi que sur les dynamiques de type "Fly-in/Fly-Out".

In the book chapter, "The Gendered Violence of Canadian Extraction", Rebecca Hall explores gender dynamics of extractive operations in Canada. Taking up a diverse set of case studies, she analyzes the relationship between home, community and work, with a focus on Indigenous/corporate relations and Fly-in/Fly-Out dynamics.
