Anne Merrild Hansen holds a PhD in Strategic Environmental Assessment. She is Professor of Social Science, Arctic Oil and Gas studies, at Ilisimatusarfik (University of Greenland) and Director of the Arctic Oil and Gas Research Centre in Nuuk. She is further the Head of AAU Arctic, a cross faculty research platform at Aalborg University.
